1. About ACE Preps
ACE Preps is a nonprofit MCAT tutoring platform that connects pre-med students with qualified volunteer tutors. Our services are provided free of charge. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
3. Student Responsibilities
Students agree to attend scheduled sessions on time, communicate cancellations in advance, and treat tutors with respect. Repeated no-shows may result in temporary suspension from booking.
4. Tutor Responsibilities
Tutors volunteer their time and agree to provide accurate information about their qualifications. Tutors must maintain professional conduct during all sessions. ACE Preps reserves the right to remove tutors who violate these standards.
5. Score Verification
Tutors are required to have an MCAT score of 515 or above. Score verification is conducted through document review by our admin team. Providing false or misleading score information will result in immediate removal from the platform.
6. Privacy
We collect only the information necessary to operate the platform. Your email, name, and session data are stored securely. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Session data is used only for platform operations and aggregate analytics.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, harass other users, share inappropriate content, or attempt to compromise the security of the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
ACE Preps provides tutoring connections on a volunteer basis. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, test scores, or medical school admissions. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
